A 5-Star Experience

High Pastures and our catering department have been awarded a 5- star rating for good quality food and hygiene by the department of environmental health. This achievement in food preparation and nutrition is paramount in our residents’ care and well-being. Our chefs prepare three freshly cooked meals a day, using local produce where possible. Menus are varied and are cooked to suit individual allergies, likes and dislikes. We also cater for all textured diets and food

These times can be re-arranged to suit personal requirements. Drinks and snacks are always available.

Our residents are given the opportunity to eat meals in their rooms or in communal dining rooms. Our experienced staff are available to assist with feeding and drinking and all intakes are recorded in residents files to ensure ongoing nutrition and identify any trends. 

All of our kitchen staff are trained to a minimum standard of NVQ level 2 in food safety and hygiene.
